Introduction

Adnmp SR 200 Tablet is also prescribed along with estrogen as a part of hormonal replacement therapy for preventing endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the lining of the uterus). It should be taken with food and at the same time each day to get the most benefit. Common side effects include headache, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, stomach or abdominal cramps, bloating, nausea and vomiting, hair loss, edema, and vaginal yeast infection. Side effects are more common during the first few weeks and usually lessen as your body gets used to the medicine. Consult your doctor if you experience frequent bleeding or spotting between periods. Inform your doctor if you have or have had breast cancer, unusual vaginal bleeding, or liver disease. Avoid alcohol and smoking while on this medication.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Adnmp SR 200 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Adnmp SR 200 Tablet is a natural progesterone available as a micronized formulation which helps in better absorption. Used as part of hormone replacement therapy generally in combination with estrogen. May be used in the treatment of menstrual period problems such as amenorrhea (absence of periods). Helps maintain pregnancy in women at higher risk of miscarriage. Should be taken with food. May cause sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens, do not drive or use machinery.
