Introduction
Adina-B Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, which treats acne (pimples). It is used to remove the dead layer of the skin, stop the growth of bacteria, and prevent accumulation of sebum. It is also used to unblock the pores and allow natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin.
Directions for Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
How it works
Adina-B Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, which treats acne (pimples). Adapalene is a form of vitamin A and Benzoyl Peroxide is a keratolytic medicine. Together they prevent accumulation of the sebum (skin's natural oil), unblock the pores and allow natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin. Benzoyl Peroxide additionally penetrates into the skin and kills acne-causing bacteria.
Quick Tips
Apply it to the affected area once a day at bedtime. It makes your skin more sensitive toward sunlight. Apply sunscreen or wear protective clothing while stepping out. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately. Do not apply to broken, sunburnt, or sensitive areas of skin. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual dryness, redness, and peeling of the skin. Be careful when applying Adina-B Gel to large areas since it can bleach hair, clothing, and furnishings upon contact.
