Adimox 125 DT Tablet is an antibiotic and probiotic combination medicine used to treat various bacterial infections in children.
Tablet DT
Adimox 125 DT Tablet is a combination of an antibiotic and a probiotic medicine. It helps treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, eyes, nose, sinus, tonsils, tooth, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. The antibiotic works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering, killing the infection-causing bacteria, and preventing the infection from spreading. The probiotic agent helps restore the balance of healthy bacteria in the gut, preventing side effects such as diarrhea.
Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Give Adimox 125 DT Tablet to your child only for their current infection. Avoid storing the medicine for future use.

Generally, antibiotics do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a negative reaction in children who have just been vaccinated. However, it is essential to consult your child's doctor before administering any vaccines while on antibiotic treatment. Your doctor can advise you on the best course of action after assessing your child's condition.
In common colds, mucus color and consistency change over time but don't automatically indicate the need for antibiotics. Common cold symptoms often resolve within 7-10 days. If they do not improve after that timeframe or if you are concerned, consult your child's doctor.
No, Adimox 125 DT Tablet is not recommended for children with infectious mononucleosis as a high percentage of them develop skin rash (erythematous rash) while taking it.
