Adfrar 20mg Injection is a biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) belonging to the TNF blocker class. It works by targeting tumor necrosis factor (TNF) to reduce joint damage and improve joint function.
You may experience a lessening of joint swelling, pain, and stiffness within the first 8 weeks of starting the treatment. It's important to note that individual responses can vary.
Adfrar 20mg Injection acts by inhibiting TNF production and may decrease the body's ability to fight infections. If you have a history of infections, consult with your doctor before starting this treatment.
Adfrar 20mg Injection is a bDMARD and may be combined with other medications like methotrexate (DMARD), prednisolone (steroid), naproxen or ibuprofen (anti-inflammatory medicine) and paracetamol (pain reliever). However, it cannot be used in combination with other bDMARDs. Please consult your doctor for further information regarding specific medication combinations.
Yes, stop treatment with Adfrar 20mg Injection before surgery. It should restart after the operation, as advised by your surgeon and rheumatologist (usually when the wound has healed and there is no active infection).
