Addnok Sublingual tablet is used to treat moderate to severe pain and drug dependence/addiction to opioids.
Sublingual tablet
Addnok Sublingual tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Never take this medicine in greater amounts or more often than prescribed. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time. If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Vomiting, dizziness, nausea, headache, difficulty sleeping, and constipation are some of the common side effects that might be observed on taking this medicine. Some people may also experience anxiety, orthostatic hypotension (sudden decrease in blood pressure on standing), and diarrhea. Use caution while driving or using any machinery as it might cause drowsiness or visual disturbances.
Place the tablet under the tongue or between the cheek and gum and let it dissolve. Do not chew, crush, or swallow the tablet. Addnok Sublingual tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Addnok Sublingual tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other medicines that can cause drowsiness. Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor if you experience difficulty breathing. Do not stop taking Addnok Sublingual tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause a worsening of symptoms. Your doctor may get regular blood tests to check for liver function while taking this medicine.
