Actovis 2500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dosage is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Actovis 2500mcg Injection), given 3 times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Actovis 2500mcg Injection) is given every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.

Avoid injecting the medication at the same site every time. If there is intense pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
