Acobal-OD 1500 Injection can be administered intravenously or intramuscularly. The usual dosage is 0.5 mg (one ampoule) and it's given three times a week. After two months, one 0.5 mg (one ampoule) dose is taken every one to three months for maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Acobal-OD 1500 Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site repeatedly. If intense pain occurs during injection or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert it at a different site.
