Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acmprol 50 R Tablet ER is to be taken with food.

Acmprol 50 R Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. Metoprolol is a beta blocker which works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly.

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause a sudden increase in your blood pressure.
