Acistat Syrup is a combination of Alginic acid and antacids used to treat heartburn, gastric reflux, and acid indigestion.
Syrup
Acistat Syrup contains Alginic acid, a natural carbohydrate obtained from brown algae, which forms a foam-like coating on the esophagus and gastric contents. This coating protects the food pipe from gastric acids, preventing inflammation or ulceration of the esophagus. It is used to treat heartburn, including heartburn during pregnancy, gastric reflux, reflux esophagitis, and acid indigestion.
Take Acistat Syrup after meals and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Use under medical supervision.
