Introduction

Acevil PG Tablet SR is a pain-relieving medicine used to treat neuropathic pain. It calms the damaged or overactive nerves by acting on the brain, thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. This way it improves your mood and reduces tiredness that can be caused by the pain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acevil PG Tablet SR is to be taken with food.

Acevil PG Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Pregabalin which relieve pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Take it as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor. Take it with food to avoid getting stomach upset. It may cause dizziness, drowsiness or visual disturbances. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration. Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment. Do not stop taking medicine without talking to your doctor.
