Acevel 100mg Capsule is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which flow of air to the lung is blocked).

Acevel 100mg Capsule can be taken with the food in evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose if in any case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember or better to skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing. It does not work immediately or prevent the already started breathing trouble, hence always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Acevel 100mg Capsule is to be taken with food.
The most common side effects of this medicine include abdominal discomfort, abdominal distension, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and heart burn.
Acevel 100mg Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Acevel 100mg Capsule is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus making it easier to breathe.
You have been prescribed Acevel 100mg Capsule for prevention and treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Your doctor may take regular blood test to monitor potassium level and the level of this medicine in your body. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney, liver or heart disease or if you have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
If you are taking birth control pills, your dose of Acevel 100mg Capsule may need to be adjusted as birth control pills can interfere with Acevel 100mg Capsule clearance, potentially increasing its levels and leading to increased side effects.
Acevel 100mg Capsule should only be taken as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to take it with food to minimize any potential stomach upset.
Combining furosemide with Acevel 100mg Capsule should be done with caution as it may decrease potassium levels. Therefore, regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended.
Acevel 100mg Capsule should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to ambroxol, Acevel 100mg Capsule, or theophylline. Additionally, those with low blood pressure, irregular heart rhythms, a history of heart attack, liver disease, or kidney disorder should refrain from taking this medication.
Acevel 100mg Capsule contains both ambroxol and theophylline, which work to make mucus less thick and clear airways. This leads to easier breathing. Furthermore, it reduces the need for other medications used to treat asthma, like salbutamol.
