Medicines containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold)
Acelro-PR Tablet is a combination of two pain relievers (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) and a proton pump inhibitor (Rabeprazole). The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). However, they may cause damage to the stomach lining. The proton-pump inhibitor is added to reduce acid secretion and prevent this damage.
Take Acelro-PR Tablet with food to avoid getting an upset stomach Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you Avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for a long duration
Acelro-PR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Rabeprazole. This medication helps in relieving pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol work by lowering the levels of those chemical substances in the body which cause pain and inflammation. Rabeprazole helps prevent digestive problems that may occur due to Aceclofenac.
Acelro-PR Tablet, when used for long-term pain relief, should be continued as directed by your doctor. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
Yes, the use of Acelro-PR Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food, or antacids may help prevent these side effects. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small sips. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration (dark-colored, strong-smelling urine, low urination frequency), contact your doctor immediately. Do not take any other medicine without consulting a doctor.
Yes, the use of Acelro-PR Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness, it is recommended to rest for a while and resume when feeling better.
Yes, long-term use of Acelro-PR Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. This is because normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins, which protect them from damage. Painkillers lower prostaglandin levels in the body over time, leading to increased risk of kidney damage. People with pre-existing kidney disease should avoid using painkillers.
No, exceeding the recommended dose of Acelro-PR Tablet can increase the risk of side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea, and can also lead to kidney damage over time. If you are experiencing increased pain or the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses of this medication, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
