How it works
Aceleo-TH Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Frequently asked questions
Can the use of Aceleo-TH Tablet be stopped when my pain is relieved?
Aceleo-TH Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when pain relief is achieved. However, continued use under medical guidance should be maintained if advised by your healthcare provider.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Aceleo-TH Tablet?
Aceleo-TH Tablet may pose risks for patients with known allergies to painkillers or its components/excipients. Use should be avoided in those with a history of stomach ulcers, active or recurrent ulcer/bleeding. This includes individuals with a history of heart failure, hypertension, and liver or kidney disease.
Can Aceleo-TH Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?
Yes, Aceleo-TH Tablet can be safely combined with vitamin B-complex preparations. Both medications target different aspects of pain management and correcting potential deficiencies contributing to symptoms.
Can the use of Aceleo-TH Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Long-term use of Aceleo-TH Tablet can lead to kidney complications due to its effect on prostaglandins, which protect against renal injury. The prolonged use of painkillers leads to reduced prostaglandin levels, increasing the risk of kidney harm over time. Individuals with pre-existing kidney disease should avoid Aceleo-TH Tablet as recommended by their healthcare provider.
Will Aceleo-TH Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
Increasing dosage of Aceleo-TH Tablet will not necessarily enhance its effectiveness. It may even exacerbate side effects, and it's important to consult your healthcare provider for re-evaluation if symptoms are severe.
Can the use of Aceleo-TH Tablet cause damage to liver?
Aceleo-TH Tablet contains Paracetamol. This ingredient can potentially harm the liver, particularly at doses exceeding the recommended limit. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it further elevates liver damage risk. Individuals with pre-existing liver disease should use Aceleo-TH Tablet cautiously and under medical supervision.
