Acefile TH Forte Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it. Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and dryness in the mouth. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acefile TH Forte Tablet is to be taken with food.
Acefile TH Forte Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac, Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first. Use this medicine as directed by your doctor and do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.
Acefile TH Forte Tablet is typically used for short-term relief and can be discontinued when pain is relieved. However, continuing Acefile TH Forte Tablet as advised by your doctor is crucial.
Acefile TH Forte Tablet is potentially harmful for individuals with a known allergy to painkillers or its components. It should be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers, active or recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. Additionally, it should not be used by those with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, or liver and kidney disease.
Acefile TH Forte Tablet can be safely taken alongside vitamin B-complex preparations. Both medicines aim to relieve pain and address potential vitamin deficiency.
Long-term use of Acefile TH Forte Tablet may potentially lead to kidney damage. This occurs because prolonged use can reduce levels of prostaglandins, which normally protect the kidneys, and increase risk of kidney damage.
Using larger amounts of Acefile TH Forte Tablet will not necessarily improve its effectiveness; instead, it may result in increased side effects. If the symptoms become more severe, consult your doctor for a reevaluation.
Acefile TH Forte Tablet contains paracetamol (acetaminophen). It is known that high doses of paracetamol can cause liver damage. Alcohol consumption while taking this medication also increases your risk of liver damage. Acefile TH Forte Tablet should not be used by patients with pre-existing liver disease. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any early signs or symptoms of liver damage, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, jaundice, and abnormal liver enzymes.
Store Acefile TH Forte Tablet in its original container or pack, keeping it tightly closed. Follow the storage instructions on the label. Do not share this medication with pets, children, or other people.
