Introduction

Accentrix Solution for Injection is administered directly into the eyeball by an eye specialist. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. The common side effects include conjunctival hemorrhage, eye pain, eye floaters, increased intraocular pressure, and eye inflammation. If these side effects get worse or persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor. It is not advised to drive after administration of this injection as it may cause temporary blurring of vision.

Your doctor or nurse will guide you how to use this medicine.

Accentrix Solution for Injection is an anti-angiogenic medication. It works by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This stops the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the eye(s) that may cause vision loss.

Try to rest your eyes as much as possible (for at least a few hours). Wear sunglasses if your eyes feel sensitive to light. Use eye drops if they are prescribed to you by your doctor. Ask your doctor if you should avoid any particular activities. Inform your doctor if you experience increased eye pain and redness, blurred or decreased vision, or increased sensitivity to light. Try to avoid any particular activities. Rest your eyes as much as possible (for at least a few hours).
