Frequently asked questions

Can Acbro 250mg Tablet be safe for use in patients with liver cirrhosis?

Oral intake of Acbro 250mg Tablet is not recommended for individuals with chronic or active liver disease. It's important to assess liver function through a blood test (liver function tests). This helps determine if the medication can safely be taken. If liver function is impaired, it can lead to increased levels of the drug in the body and potential adverse effects. Therefore, consult your doctor if you have any concerns about liver disease or cirrhosis and inform them of all medications you are currently taking, as this can impact liver function and increase risk of side effects. Regular monitoring (after 4-6 weeks) may be recommended to adjust dosages if needed.

Does Acbro 250mg Tablet cause any skin reactions?

Although rare, some individuals may experience adverse skin reactions while using Acbro 250mg Tablet. Reports exist of severe hypersensitivity reactions such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and other serious skin conditions. If you notice signs like rashes or skin irritation, stop taking the medication immediately and contact your doctor.

Is Acbro 250mg Tablet effective?

Acbro 250mg Tablet effectively treats fungal infections when used as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Do not stop the medication prematurely even if symptoms improve, as this could allow the fungus to continue growing and potentially cause recurrence or worsening of the infection.

How long do I need to take Acbro 250mg Tablet?

The usual treatment duration for Tinea pedis (athlete's foot), Tinea corporis (ringworm), and Tinea cruris (jock itch) is typically 2 to 4 weeks. For nail infections, the duration may vary from 6 to 12 weeks, with fingernail infections taking around 6 weeks while toenail infections take up to 12 weeks. Treatment duration is determined by your doctor based on the specific fungal infection, its location, and how your body responds to treatment.

Can I drink tea or coffee while taking Acbro 250mg Tablet?

Consuming caffeinated beverages like tea and coffee should be approached cautiously when taking Acbro 250mg Tablet, as caffeine metabolism is slowed by the drug. This can increase caffeine levels in your blood, potentially leading to side effects like jitters, headaches, increased heart rate, and restlessness.
