Abrovax 100 Capsule is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which flow of air to the lung is blocked).

Abrovax 100 Capsule can be taken with the food in evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose if in any case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember or better to skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing. It does not work immediately or prevent the already started breathing trouble hence always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Abrovax 100 Capsule is to be taken with food.

Abrovax 100 Capsule is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus making it easier to breathe.
You have been prescribed Abrovax 100 Capsule for prevention and treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Your doctor may take regular blood test to monitor potassium level and the level of this medicine in your body. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
If you are taking birth control pills, dosage of Abrovax 100 Capsule must be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of Abrovax 100 Capsule, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.
Abrovax 100 Capsule should be taken as directed by the doctor. To avoid stomach upset, it is recommended to take with food.
Care must be taken when combining furosemide with Abrovax 100 Capsule as the combination may decrease potassium levels. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is crucial.
Abrovax 100 Capsule should not be taken by individuals allergic to ambroxol, Abrovax 100 Capsule, or theophylline. Patients with a history of low blood pressure, irregular heartbeats or rhythm, heart attack, liver disease, or kidney disorder should also avoid taking this medication.
Abrovax 100 Capsule contains theophylline-7 acetate and ambroxol, which work together to make mucus more fluid and ease airway clearance. This leads to easier breathing compared to theophylline alone. Abrovax 100 Capsule also reduces the need for other asthma medications such as salbutamol.
