AB-Resp Tablet is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which flow of air to the lung is blocked).

AB-Resp Tablet can be taken with the food in evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose if in any case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember or better to skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing. It does not work immediately or prevent the already started breathing trouble hence always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. AB-Resp Tablet is to be taken with food.

Taking AB-Resp Tablet and birth control pills simultaneously may affect the medication's clearance. Therefore, your doctor may need to adjust your dose of AB-Resp Tablet or you might need to alter your birth control pill regimen.
It is crucial to take AB-Resp Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. To minimize any stomach upset, consume it with food.
Combining furosemide and AB-Resp Tablet requires caution due to potential potassium level changes. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is essential in such cases.
You should avoid taking AB-Resp Tablet if you are allergic to ambroxol, AB-Resp Tablet, or theophylline. Additionally, individuals with a history of low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, or heart attack, liver disease, or kidney disorders should avoid using this medication.
AB-Resp Tablet contains both ambroxol and theophylline. The combination helps thin mucus and improve airflow, making breathing easier. This effect is beneficial compared to using just theophylline alone.
