How it works
A2D Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.

Frequently asked questions
Can I give cough and allergy medicine together if my child has a persistent cough along with allergic symptoms?
No, it's not recommended to mix cough and allergy medicines as they often contain similar ingredients. This can lead to double dosing of the active ingredients, potentially causing serious side effects.
Can I adjust the dose of A2D Syrup if my child starts feeling better?
It's best to stick to the prescribed dosage for your child and not increase or decrease it on your own. Adjusting the dose can impact their health, and suddenly stopping the medication can lead to rebound reversal of all symptoms.
How should A2D Syrup be stored?
Store A2D Syrup at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. Also, keep all medications out of reach and sight of children to avoid any accidental intake.
Can A2D Syrup cause sleepiness in my child?
Yes, A2D Syrup can cause mild drowsiness, but never give it to your child to induce sleep. Forced sleep could mask underlying sleep disorders like insomnia.
