9 PM Eye Drop is a medicine used to reduce pressure in the eyes in people with glaucoma and ocular hypertension (high pressure in the eye).
Eye Drop
9 PM Eye Drop is suitable for adults and children and can be used by itself or in combination with other eye medicines to reduce pressure. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit. If you stop using it, pressure in the eye could increase and damage your sight. Never use a bottle if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. If you wear contact lenses, make sure you remove them before instilling and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back. The most common side effects include eyelashes changes, eye pain and sensitivity to light. It may also cause blurred vision, dryness in the eye, a gradual change in color of the eye, and other rare effects. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to tell you ways of reducing or preventing some side effects or suggest another treatment. If your vision is blurred or you have other changes in sight for a time, do not drive until your vision is clear. This is usually a short-term side effect. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

9 PM Eye Drop should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
9 PM Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
9 PM Eye Drop is a prostaglandin analogue. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
9 PM Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss. For best results, put one drop once a day in the evening/night in the affected eye(s). Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. 9 PM Eye Drop may cause brown pigmentation of the iris. This discoloration may be permanent. Your eyelashes may become more dense and eyelid skin may darken. These changes should disappear after discontinuing 9 PM Eye Drop.
Yes, contact lenses can be used while taking 9 PM Eye Drop. However, remove your contact lenses before applying 9 PM Eye Drop. Reinsert the lenses after a 15-minute interval following eye drop application. Consult your doctor if you experience any eye irritation that persists.
Continued use of 9 PM Eye Drop may lead to changes in iris color, particularly brown pigmentation. This change is more pronounced in individuals with mixed eye colors (blue-brown, grey-brown, yellow-brown, or green-brown). The change may be noticeable if applied to only one eye. These color alterations are likely to be permanent. Additionally, eyelashes might become denser and the eyelid color may darken. However, this change is typically temporary and reverts to normal after ceasing 9 PM Eye Drop use.
If you need to apply other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before doing so. Inform your doctor about any other medications you are using as they may interfere with the effectiveness of 9 PM Eye Drop.
After applying eye drops, close your eyes for at least 2-3 minutes to allow the medication to be absorbed properly and prevent any loss of medicine from running off.
Yes. Unopened bottles of 9 PM Eye Drop should be kept in the refrigerator at temperatures between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). However, once the bottle is opened for use, it can be stored at room temperature up to 25°C (77°F) for no more than six weeks.
The pressure in your eyes starts decreasing after about 3-4 hours of using 9 PM Eye Drop, and the full effect is achieved after 8-12 hours.
It is recommended to use 9 PM Eye Drop in the evening for optimal results. Using 9 PM Eye Drop in the mornings during the initial few days showed significant results in lowering eye pressure. The effects of this medicine remain for about 24 hours after administration.
Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following: eye infections, injuries, conjunctivitis (pink eye), or eyelid reactions. In addition, inform your doctor about any previous eye surgeries.
